Heather Harris, PhD
Heather Harris, PhD, is the founder, Principal Data Scientist, and AI Consultant for Herkimer Consulting. She holds a PhD in statistics from James Madison University with a focus on cognitive processes and has worked as a consulting data scientist for over six years, successfully guiding customers through the deployment of advanced AI solutions. Dr. Harris’s approach is to be a "sherpa,” ensuring that data governance, integrity, and diversity remain central throughout the process. Her portfolio includes pioneering data science programs, predicting audiences and micro-targeting marketing for the first movie with a theatrical release following the pandemic, developing scoring algorithms for EdTech, and establishing AI-driven data ecosystems for associations. Dr. Harris is also a certified Scrum Master and highly committed to empowering executives and board members through AI workshops, making complex concepts accessible and actionable. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys exploring DC’s museums and engaging in a good game of Euchre with friends.
Amady Sogodogo, PhD
Amady Sogodogo, PhD, is the Principal Policy and DEIA Scientist at Herkimer Consulting. Dr. Sogodogo holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech, as well as graduate certificates in Environmental Policy, Nonprofit and Non-Governmental Organization Management, and Inclusion and Diversity. He also holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management from Quinnipiac University, demonstrating his broad competence in both policy analysis and organizational leadership. His experience includes significant contributions to the White House, the US Department of Transportation, and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, where he advanced DEIA initiatives, led change management initiatives, and enhanced organizational efficiency. As a leading expert in policy analysis, ethics, and governance, Dr. Sogodogo is dedicated to integrating ethical considerations into AI deployment and advancing DEIA strategies within public and nonprofit organizations.
